Nobles were delighted to have been appointed to construct the first new monastery in Merseyside in over a century. The Carmelite Sisters order will be relocating from their present home in West Derby to the new location in Allerton, in a purpose-built monastery. The monastery is the largest of its kind in Europe.
The three storey structure was traditionally built from masonry, with a steel framed central chapel. Extensive landscaping and sustainable features were also included.
