The Royal Birkdale Golf Club

In advance of the 2008 Open Championship Royal Birkdale Golf Club in Southport commissioned Nobles Construction to refurbish its club house facilities.

The £1.6 million scheme was completed in May 2007 after 35 weeks on site. The project included new changing facilities for players, a purpose-built Pro Shop, player’s entrance, training rooms and trolley store, as well as an accompanying landscape to the prestigious golf club and remodelled car parking facility.

The plans incorporated a carefully phased programme to reduce the impact of the work on the day-to-day operation of Royal Birkdale, ensuring a safe and seamless transition.
