Built in 40 weeks, the £1.4 million project provides a specialist sports science facility for Liverpool John Moores University students.
The single storey centre comprises space dedicated to teaching, offices, a large sports hall, changing rooms and café area.
Built on piled foundations around a full height central glazed atrium, the envelope is a striking mix of several treatments including rendered walls, curtain walling with manifestations and a bullnosed Rheinzink cladded roof.
