St George's Medical Centre
On behalf of Prime UK and completed in April 2009, this design-and-build project brought much needed expanded consultation facilities to the St George's Medical Centre in Wallasey, Wirral.
Operating on an extremely constrained site in the heart of a residential area, this carefully phased project has involved the construction of a new two-storey extension of traditional masonry structure and trussed tiled roof, associated finishes and external works and alterations and improvements to the existing building.
The extension has doubled in size the existing facility and brought additional GP consultation rooms, nurse treatment rooms, staff office and training facilities and a completely renewed reception and waiting area.
