The Arriva Shrewsbury site was on the former site of a cattle market and consisted of a building approx. Constructed with a 900m/2 steel frame including cladding elevations.

Inside contains full workshop facilities which includes 3 large pits used to service the buses as well as office and storage facilities. The workshop is able to offer full MOT external servicing for road vehicles. Externally the works are approximately 6000m/2 of concrete paving with re fuelling facilities, chassis and bus wash facilities as well as full mechanical and electrical facilities.

Externally the works are covered by external fencing and CCTV. Nobles also introduced a full rainwater harvesting system to the facility and some green roof building design.

Nobles worked to strict deadlines throughout this project and had excellent relationships with all Arriva staff. Effective communication was imperative in this project as the facility remained fully operational throughout the works with buses entering and leaving the facility on a regular basis.
