A three phase project consisting of the refurbishment of the existing children’s bedrooms, dining room and kitchen, as well as the construction of a new main entrance, laundry and sluice room and play area extensions.

The 31 week project included many aspects of construction, from sub structure piling to the high level finishing works including bespoke reception desk, feature glazing and decorative lighting internally and externally. Constructed to create a warm and friendly environment, phases one and two were to complete the internal refurbishment of existing bedrooms, corridors and dining areas. Phase three was to construct the new main entrance facility, play area and staff kitchen.

Access constraints, as well as completing the works to live areas whilst enabling the hospice to continue functioning were difficult factors in this project, but everything was completed without any disruption or incidents with the hospice.
