This design and build scheme converted a disused four-storey office block into an eight-storey boutique hotel.

The building was initially stripped back to its concrete frame before underpinning the foundations.  The subsequent fitment of strengthening steel-work supports the additional storeys.  As well as this, a new steel frame completes the work to the shell.

Limited working space and poor access required accommodating to work on this extremely restricted site.

Once completed, the extension increased the number of bedrooms from 48 to 89.  This has in turn created a stunning architectural addition to this famous Liverpool street.
