This extensive refurbishment project has reinvented the Liverpool Royal Court Theatre.
The £720,000 refurbishment brought the infrastructure of the building into the 21st Century.
At the same time existing features received sympathetic restoration to their former standard. We took impressions of damaged plaster mouldings for replication and restoration.
Nobles installed a new raised floor with banquette seating to the auditorium. Then we also built a new bar and bar top with marble salvaged during the project.
Lighting is by recessed down lighters fitted in the stalls, circle, balcony and auditorium ceilings. We built a birdcage scaffold on the balcony and employed specialist access equipment to fit the ceiling lights.
Following this we completely overhauled the basement toilets, with the Ladies WC remodelled and both receiving a specialist resin floor covering.
Nobles operated under a strict twelve-week contract programme. Despite this we completed all works within this timescale.
